Description
This plate was handpainted by my great aunt. It is so beautiful it needed to be photographed and shared. Ceramic painting was very big in the 1920's when this was painted. It is a beautiful image for a wall or a greeting card!

The photograph brings out the best of the hand painted image- the individual swallows are quite small- all fitting on an 8" plate. I have this image hanging on my wall now and it is glorious! thanks for the comment Michel.
