Driving back from Port Renfrew on Vancouver Island, BC I spotted this very unusual fir tree growing on a log in the lake beside the road. I expect it is a regularly photographed item.. but here is mine.. I love the mist and the richness of the greys and greens. I wonder how long it can grow on this log?
